In the VI edition of the Valencian Community wine competition, Bodegas Xaló has achieved the PROAVA Grand Prize for the best wine in all categories of the Valencian Community with its Mistela Riu Rau.
In this edition of the contest held on July 19, 20, and 23, with a total of 230 wines submitted, 20% more samples compared to the 2020 edition, Bodegas Xaló continues to add success.
La Mistela Riu Rau limited edition, handcrafted with the best grapes from Muscatel of Alexandria, has been considered by the tasters committee as the best wine in all categories of the Valencian Community.
Dark mahogany color.
It is a very intense wine, with a great personality, with floral notes, honey, citrus and dried fruits.
In the mouth it has an intense and long attack, and with a great balance between sweetness and acidity.
Ideal to take with sweet desserts, or simply to enjoy it alone.

In addition to having obtained the PROAVA 2021 Grand Prize for the best wine in all categories with the Mistela Riu Rau, Bodegas Xaló has also been awarded two more prizes.
Bronze medal in the category of Flavored Wines with Xaloneret vermouth.
Silver medal in the category of Liquor Wines with Vall de Xaló.
